The unmixing techniques used in this paper consist of two steps (1) automatic extraction of the reference spectrum of each pure chromophore; and (2) abundance calculation of each pure chromophore from the estimated reference spectra. The compared strategies bring positivity and sum-to-one constraints, from the hyperspectral remote sensing field to multispectral photoacoustic, to evaluate chromophore concentration. Particularly, the study extracts the endmembers and compares the algorithms from the hyperspectral remote sensing domain and a dedicated algorithm for segmentation of multispectral photoacoustic data to this end. First, these strategies are tested with dilution and mixing of chromophores on colored 4% agar phantom data. Then, some preliminary in vivo experiments are performed. These consist of estimations of the oxygen saturation rate (sO2) in mouse tumors. This article proposes then a proof-of-concept of the interest to bring hyperspectral remote sensing algorithms to multispectral photoacoustic imaging for the estimation of chromophore concentration.Food waste and loss is a global issue involving ethics, society, the environment, and the economy. Additional platelet activators may augment thrombin generation further, and in the case of coronary stenosis, high shear has been shown to strengthen the attachment of the thrombus to the vessel wall. Neutrophil extracellular traps contribute to fibrinolysis resistance. Additionally, platelet-mediated clot retraction, release of Factor XIII and resultant crosslinking with fibrinolysis inhibitors impart structural stability to the thrombus against dislodgment by flow. AFs are carcinogenic compounds causing liver cancer in humans and animals. Physical and biological factors significantly affect AF production during the pre-and post-harvest time. Several methodologies have been developed to control AF contamination, yet; they are usually expensive and unfriendly to the environment. Consequently, interest in using biocontrol agents has increased, as they are convenient, advanced, and friendly to the environment. Using non-aflatoxigenic strains of A. flavus (AF-) as biocontrol agents is the most promising method to control AFs' contamination in cereal crops. AF- strains cannot produce AFs due to the absence of polyketide synthase genes or genetic mutation. AF- strains competitively exclude the AF+ strains in the field, giving an extra advantage to the stored grains. Several microbiological, molecular, and field-based approaches have been used to select a suitable biocontrol agent. The effectiveness of biocontrol agents in controlling AF contamination could reach up to 99.3%. Optimal inoculum rate and a perfect time of application are critical factors influencing the efficacy of biocontrol agents.The article presents the results of an analysis of the influence of the technological parameters related to tool holder types on the vibrations occurring during the milling of AZ91D magnesium alloy. Magnesium alloys are very low-density materials and, therefore, are increasingly being considered as replacement materials for the more commonly used aluminium alloys. The tool used in the study was a carbide end mill with TiAlN coating, clamped in three different types of tool holder ER collet, heat shrink, and Tendo E hydraulic. The milling tests used straight toolpaths at varied cutting speeds and feed per tooth values. Based on the vibration displacement and acceleration signals recorded during the machining tests, the following were analysed maximum value, amplitude, and root mean square (RMS) value of the vibrations. As part of the study, composite multiscale entropy (CMSE) analysis was also performed, describing the level of disorderliness of the obtained vibration signals. The increase in machining parameters caused an increase in the values characterising the displacement and acceleration of the vibrations.
